Mangapurua Trig Campsite is a backcountry site within Whanganui National Park, positioned on the Mangapurua Track. Access involves a steady climb through farmland and native forest, with views towards Tongariro National Park. Te Araroa Trail walkers pass through this area and require a Trail Pass.
