Bushlands Campground

Bushlands Campground is located on the Forgotten World Highway (State Highway 43) in the Manawatū-Whanganui region, situated on the banks of the Tangarakau River approximately six kilometres down Raekohua Road. The campground sits in a lush green valley surrounded by native bush and manuka, offering a peaceful and remote setting away from main centres. Accommodation options include rustic cabins, powered sites, and non-powered sites spread throughout the grounds among native trees. The riverside location provides opportunities to hear native birdcall and enjoy the sounds of the river while staying in farm and bush surroundings.
