Balmoral Reserve offers grassy, open camping sites for caravans and tents beside the Hurunui River near Culverden in Canterbury. The site is managed by the Balmoral Recreation Area Charitable Trust and provides seasonal facilities: during summer months visitors have access to non-powered sites, toilets and running water, while winter camping (April to October) includes long-drop toilets with no running water available. The large reserve features mature pine trees and BBQ areas. Payment can be made to committee members on-site or at Caltex Garage in Culverden.
