Steeprise 2 is a backcountry tent site operated by Ontario Parks in Ontario. This primitive camping option provides access to a more remote wilderness experience, requiring hikers to pack in their own equipment and supplies. As a backcountry site, campers should be prepared for basic conditions without the amenities found at drive-in campgrounds, including no electrical hookups, running water, or washroom facilities. Those planning a visit should contact Ontario Parks directly to confirm current reservation procedures, access routes, and any applicable fees or permit requirements for backcountry camping at this location.
