Schlaepfer Park Scout Camp on Ostrich Farm Road in Pukekohe offers both indoor and outdoor camping facilities for groups. Indoor accommodation includes bunkrooms with kitchen, toilet and shower facilities, while outdoor camping areas provide back-to-basics sites with water piped to some locations but no permanent toilets. The property features a Bush Chapel suitable for outdoor weddings and various camping zones with good shelter, though some require ground improvements for larger groups. A camp warden manages the site and must be contacted on arrival and before departure. Multiple groups may use the property simultaneously, as bookings do not guarantee exclusive access.
