Odlin Campsite offers backcourt tent camping in the Auckland region, accessible only by a 2.8-kilometre walk. Located near Karekare, this isolated site sits approximately 50 kilometres from Auckland's city centre and accommodates a maximum of 20 people with a seven-night stay limit. Managed by Auckland Council, the campsite provides an unpowered, remote camping experience for those willing to carry their gear to reach this walk-in location. The site suits trampers seeking a basic overnight stop within reach of the city, and campers should contact Auckland Council to confirm current booking arrangements, seasonal availability and any applicable fees before planning their visit.
