Kaka Point Camping Ground is a family-owned campsite surrounded by mature native podocarp forest, offering a tranquil base for exploring the Catlins. The grounds feature both powered and non-powered sites on all-weather hard stands and grass areas, sheltered by native bush. Facilities include a dump point, standard cabins, UV-filtered water, a fully equipped communal kitchen, free hot showers, laundry, and a BBQ area. Birdlife such as tui, bellbirds, wax-eyes, and kereru frequent the area, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
