Ivvavik Base Camp

Ivvavik Base Camp is a backcountry camping facility operated by Parks Canada in Yukon Territory. As a backcountry site, visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions and self-sufficient wilderness camping. This base camp serves as access to Ivvavik National Park's remote northern wilderness and requires advance planning. Given the backcountry designation and remote Yukon location, campers must possess appropriate skills and equipment for challenging terrain and variable weather. Contact Parks Canada directly to confirm specific amenities, seasonal access, reservation requirements, permit procedures, and any applicable fees before planning your visit.
