Helmet / Ochre Junction is a backcountry campsite in British Columbia managed by Parks Canada. This primitive camping area requires self-sufficiency and proper backcountry skills, as it offers minimal developed facilities. The site provides access to remote wilderness areas where visitors can experience rugged terrain and natural landscapes away from established campgrounds. Campers should be prepared for variable weather conditions and wildlife encounters typical of BC's backcountry. Those planning a visit should contact Parks Canada directly to confirm current access conditions, registration requirements, and any applicable fees or permit regulations.
