Dickey Flat Adventure Camp is operated by the Dickey Flat Adventure Trust and sits in a private valley near Waitawheta, approximately 10 kilometres from Waihi and 3 kilometres off State Highway 2. The camp is surrounded by native bush alongside the Waitawheta River, beneath the historic slopes of Mt Karangahake in the Karangahake Gorge area. Developed as a youth development and environmental enhancement project, the site offers access to bush walks, river swimming holes and the region's gold mining heritage.
