Boulders Campsite sits beside the Te Waiti Stream in Urutawa Conservation Area, surrounded by nikau palms and tawa forest. This Department of Conservation site, located south of Ōpōtiki in the East Coast region, is popular for swimming and picnicking. The campsite offers BBQ facilities, tent sites, and toilets, with water available from the stream. Access requires a 4WD vehicle due to storm damage on the gravel road, which includes a low ford crossing and a steep, rough track down to the camping area. Fees are free.
