Birch Island Campground & RV Park is a privately operated campground located 10 kilometres north of Clearwater on Highway 5 in the Wells Gray corridor. The property offers pull-through RV sites with electric hookups (15 and 30 amp available) as well as unserviced tent sites, all set among treed, private spaces with mountain views and access to the North Thompson River. Amenities include restrooms, showers, WiFi, and a games yard with playground. Pets are welcome. The campground provides a quiet, country setting with opportunities for fishing and hiking nearby, and a full-service store with gas is located close by.
