Ruapuke Motorcamp offers traditional camping experiences approximately 28 kilometres south of Raglan, set in a valley near Ruapuke Surf Beach. The site provides tent sites and powered caravan sites across park-like grounds, with a fresh water stream flowing through the property. Facilities include a communal kitchen, dining area, flush toilets and hot showers. Four cabins are available for those preferring solid accommodation. The motorcamp operates without EFTPOS facilities, so visitors should bring cash. Check-in is from 2pm and checkout by 11am. The beach is accessible on foot from the grounds, making this a suitable base for exploring the Waikato coast.
