Raetea Peak Camp Site is a backcountry camping area in Raetea Forest and Mangamuka Gorge Scenic Reserve, Northland. This conservation campsite sits at the northern foot of Raetea Forest, a lowland coastal forest alongside State Highway 1 near Mangamuka Gorge. The site is approximately 18 kilometres south-east of Kaitaia and accessed via a stream ford off the highway. Facilities include toilets and stream water. No camping fees apply. The reserve features kauri and towai forest with clear rocky streams, offering a peaceful base for exploring the Far North's native bush.
