Mossburn Country Park is a privately owned holiday park on SH 97, approximately halfway between Queenstown and Te Anau. Set on 28 acres of farmland, the park offers powered and unpowered sites plus basic cabins. Facilities include a fully equipped communal kitchen, laundry, hot showers and a dump station for overnight guests. The location serves as a base for exploring Southland's attractions, including the Around The Mountains cycle trail (entrance 3.3km away), Mavora Lakes, Fiordland and local trout fishing rivers. Run by Colleen and Stuart with their Labrador, the park features hand-reared farm animals and maintains a quiet rural atmosphere.
