Knottingley Park Campground, managed by Waimate District Council, occupies approximately two acres within a 36-hectare arboretum of mature exotic trees, located 2km from Waimate in Canterbury. The campground provides level sites for caravans and unlimited tent pitches, with 16 power points available across the grounds. Large trees border the camping area, offering natural shade. Facilities include concrete-block ablution buildings with showers, basic toilets and a kitchen. The wider park features walking and cycling tracks, a small playground, and landscaped gardens accessible via an impressive stone entrance.
