Katipo Creek Shelter Campsite is a walk-in Great Walk campsite located on the Heaphy Track in Kahurangi National Park, managed by the Department of Conservation. The site features a 1970s-style shelter, five tent sites on grassy areas, and can accommodate up to 10 campers. Facilities include toilets with toilet paper, a water tap, sinks and a water tank. The campsite offers coastal vistas and sits relatively close to the beach, though the terrain is somewhat exposed to weather conditions. Bookings are required, with fees varying by residency status and season. This is one of nine Great Walk campsites along the Heaphy Track.
