The Boyne River Rest Area is an ideal stopover with a smooth bitumen surface and top-quality facilities. Regardless of the size of your rig, it accommodates with ease, offering plentiful space for turning. The rest area is marked by interesting sculptures, adding an artistic touch. For convenience, the availability of town water makes it a great water filling station. Although generators can be used during the day, it is encouraged to respect the local residents due to the closeness of nearby houses. A minor drawback is the traffic noise from the adjacent highway and bridge.

Worth knowing before you book: the park changed hands in 2025 and part of the caravan area is being converted to rental villas, so the number of tourist sites is smaller than older listings suggest. Book ahead in peak season.
