Bear Beach

Bear Beach Recreation Site offers a basic camping experience in the remote coastal wilderness of British Columbia's North Island near Kyuquot, Nootka, and Sayward areas. This recreation site provides access to a rugged shoreline setting ideal for those seeking solitude and natural beauty away from developed campgrounds. As with many BC recreation sites in the region, visitors should come prepared for primitive conditions and be self-sufficient with supplies and equipment. The site suits experienced campers comfortable with backcountry-style camping. Contact the local BC recreation site manager or regional district to confirm current conditions, applicable fees, and any seasonal restrictions before planning your visit.
