Amethyst Campground is a backcountry site managed by Parks Canada in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Located in a grove of fir trees near Amethyst Lake in the Tonquin Valley, the campground provides tent pads, food lockers, picnic tables and toilets. The site is accessible via multi-day hiking trails and serves as a base for exploring the dramatic Ramparts and surrounding wilderness.
