Overview
White Flint Park is located at Belton Lake, which provides some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Central Texas. This year-round campground has 12 sites with screened overnight shelters and 13 RV sites, all with water and electric hookups.Belton Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Belton Dam in 1954. The 12,300-acre lake is located on the Leon River, just upstream of the confluence of the Leon River and the Little River.
Recreation
With 136 miles of shoreline, Belton Lake offers a wide variety of recreation activities. White Flint Park is most popular for it's quiet, lake-side screen shelters. The Park offers a day use area complete with one multi-lane boat ramp. The lake is also a popular fishing spot for hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, white bass, catfish and sunfish.
White-tailed deer, hawks, great blue herons, ducks, geese, many species of songbirds, bobwhite quail, Rio Grande turkey, and even an occasional bald eagle visit the lake area, yielding year-round opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and kids alike!

Facilities Description:
All campsites (RV) and Screen Shelters have water and electric, a covered picnic table, a charcoal grill, and fire ring. A water-bourne (Showers, sinks, flush toilets) are centrally located to the campground. Campsites range from heavily shaded to sun. White Flint Park is located next to the White Flint Wildlife Management Area, which boasts plenty of hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities. In the day use area, campers will find a 1-lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock and a vault restroom facility. The park offers 1 RV dump station (W/ Non-Potable water). Day use fees are now payable via QR codes found in the parking areas by the boat ramp.
The park is staffed with on-site volunteer campground hosts and maintenance hosts.

Natural Features
All of the campsites are along the shoreline of Belton Lake. The campground is partially forested, providing a mixture of sun and shade.There is a man-made wetland on the lake between White Flint and Winkler Parks, providing an additional 25 acres of wildlife habitat in the lake area.

WINKLER PARK
Overview Winkler Park is a small, primitive campground on the northern shore of Belton Lake in Central Texas. This park does not have electricity, but does have water hookups at each site, paved back-in sites, and a central water bourne restroom with flush toilets, sinks, and showers. There are 14 sites available for RVs and tents and a day use area. Truly sink into nature in the peaceful park full of wildlife and beautiful sunset/sunrise views! This park is seasonal, and will close Nov 1st - February 28th. Belton Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Belton Dam in 1954. The 12,300-acre lake is located on the Leon River, just upstream of the confluence of the Leon River and the Little River. Belton Lake is a long, narrow and winding lake with many curves and coves, providing some of the best camping, fishing, and boating in Central Texas. Winkler Park is most popular for it's close proximity to the shoreline for campers and fishermen alike and getting back to rustic style camping. Overview Cedar Ridge Park campground is located on the Northern side of Belton Lake. This year-round campground accommodates both tents and RVs and has several sites with screened shelters for those who do not have camping equipment. This family friendly park provides many amenities, including water-bourne restrooms with sinks, flush toilets, and showers, group picnic areas, and a concession marina within the park offers fuel and basic convenience store items, as well as a seasonal restaurant. Overview Temples Lake Park is a day-use facility with over 60 picnic sites and one reservable group area on the southern shore of Belton Lake.
