Treasure Island offers powered and unpowered sites for caravans and tents at Pataua South, half an hour from Whangarei on Northland's east coast. The holiday park provides access to both a sheltered lagoon suitable for families and a nearby surf beach, with 85 powered sites and 65 camping sites across the grounds. Facilities include ablution blocks with coin-operated showers, a communal kitchen, rumpus room, alfresco dining area, and a playground. A small shop sells coffee, ice-cream, pies and milkshakes. Sports equipment is available at reception, and the local boat ramp is close by for launching watercraft.
