Overview Brush Creek is located downstream of Keystone Dam, just 10 minutes from Tulsa, Oklahoma. This park features campground provided activities such as horseshoes, cornhole, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a mile-long fitness trail, and quick access to nearby multi-purpose trails. This is a popular destination for fishermen as they have the ability to cross along the pedestrian bridge from the campground to the fishing berm below the dam. In additon to fishing, this area offers prime opportunities to observe multiple wildlife species. Please note when camping here, while typically quiet, water releases from the dam are preceded by several warning signals from a horn. This is a brief safety measure for anyone in or near the water below the dam, and there is no danger to the campground. Recreation This park features fishing opportunities with disabled access, a pedestrian bridge, playground, horseshoe, cornhole, basketball court, volleyball court, and a fitness trail. Recreation opportunities that are offered nearby include the Two Rivers Trail, Keystone Singletrack Trail, and White Water Off Road Vehicle Area. Facilities This popular, quaint campground features 50 amp electrical service, water hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and lantern hooks at all sites. Additionally, sewer hookups are included at sites 1-14. This park also offers a restroom/shower facility. Natural Features The park is nestled along the Arkansas River, downstream from Keystone Dam. This location is popular for striped bass, white bass, white crappie, and various catfish species. Overview Welcome to Appalachia Bay! Located south of US 412 just 20 miles west of Tulsa, this park features a boat ramp, camping, fishing and other water sports, and a 400 acre off road park. The lake's blue-green water, beautiful natural surroundings and wide variety of recreational opportunities make it a popular destination for year-round fun. Recreation Keystone Lake is a prime location for boating, water skiing, swimming and fishing. The lake is noted for its striped, sand, black and smallmouth bass, crappie and catfish. Downstream fisheries are accessible at nearby Whitewater and Brush Creek Parks. Appalachia Bay contains a 400 acre off road park, for Off Road Vehicles 64" wide or smaller. It also features a boat ramp, courtesy dock, fishing dock, and 24 campsites. Facilities This campground features 24 reservable campsites, most with 30 and 50 amp electrical services, water hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. This park also offers a restroom/shower facility, drinking water, and dump station. Additionally there is a boat ramp with parking, day use area with picnic tables, and a 400 acre off road park. Natural Features Keystone Lake is settled into many small valleys and contains almost 26,000 surface acres. Its 330 miles of shoreline are covered with bottomland timber and post oak, blackjack oak and prairie fields, which provide habitat for a variety of wildlife, including deer, squirrel, rabbit, quail, dove and waterfowl. Nearby Attractions Washington Irving South Recreation Area offers tent or RV camping with a playground in the day use area as well as a 1-mile out-and-back hiking trail. Brush Creek Recreation Area offers quiet camping below the dam with excellent fishing opportunities, a paved 1-mile fitness trail, basketball and sand volleyball courts. Walnut Creek Park, on the Arkansas River, has a variety of camping areas, day use areas, and 17 miles of multi-use/equestrian trails. Please note Off Road Vehicle use is not allowed at Walnut Creek. Whitewater, located below Keystone Dam on the south side of the river, is an off roading destination. There is no width restriction in this area, it is used by many Jeeps and trucks as well as ORVs. Keystone Ancient Forest is a unique old-growth forest preserve. It features many miles of hiking trails. The park is operated by the City of Sand Springs, and dogs are welcome on select days.

Overview Sheppard Point is an excellent destination for access to Oklahoma's Heyburn Lake and taking advantage of hiking and sightseeing on the multi-use nature trail. Sheppard Point offers a handful of equestrian-friendly sites where horses can be kept behind the sites on tether poles, with direct access to the trail system. Recreation Picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, water skiing, boating, swimming are some of the favorite activities at Heyburn Lake. Anglers catch catfish, bass and crappie while hunters seek white-tailed deer and wild turkey. Facilities Sheppard Point has a selection of both tent and RV campsites. Perks include hot showers, a boat ramp, playground, swim beach and multi-use trail to the perks. Group picnic shelters are available as well. Natural Features Heyburn Lake lies in the Sandstone Hills of the Osage Section of Oklahoma's central lowlands. The picturesque setting of grasslands and gently sloping, wooded hills, provides a stunning backdrop for recreation in the area. The area is mostly forested with oaks, blackjack, and the occasional hickory, ash, elm or cottonwood tree. In spring, flowering wild plum and redbud trees add color to the soft, green landscape. Overview Heyburn Park features 46 campsites, a 2 lane boat ramp, courtesy dock, playground, 2 restroom/shower facilities, 2 group shelters, and a large swim beach with picnic tables. Recreation Boating, water skiing and fishing are all popular activities on Heyburn Lake. Common catches include crappie, bass and catfish. During hunting season, project lands provide opportunities for waterfowl and whitetail deer. Heyburn Public Hunting Area covers more than 6,000 acres of project lands and provides hunting opportunities for squirrel, rabbit, quail, waterfowl and wild turkey. Facilities The campground has 46 campsites with water and electric hookups, some of which have 50 amp service. Two group shelters, one with 50 amp camping sites and one day-use shelter by the swim beach, are available. Natural Features Heyburn lies in a picturesque setting of grasslands and gently sloping, sandstone hills covered with oak trees and scattered with hickory, ash, elm and cottonwood.
