Outlet Camp Wānaka sits on the shores of Lake Wānaka at the head of the Mata-Au, offering lake and mountain views across 170 unpowered campsites suited to tents and caravans. The camp welcomes pets and provides dump point facilities for self-contained travellers. Sites vary in size and location across both sides of the camp. Accommodation options include cosy cabins and yurts alongside traditional camping spots. Powered and unpowered sites are available, with unpowered camping encouraging visitors to disconnect and experience a traditional camping atmosphere. The lakeside setting appeals to families, vanlifers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking access to Wānaka's recreational activities.
