McLaughlin offers backcountry tent camping in British Columbia, providing access to wilderness experiences away from developed facilities. As a backcountry site, visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions and plan accordingly with proper equipment and supplies. Those seeking a remote camping experience will find opportunities for solitude and outdoor recreation. Given the backcountry nature of this location, campers should be self-sufficient and practice Leave No Trace principles. Contact the managing authority for current access information, trail conditions, and any permit requirements before planning your trip.
