Herbert Forest Camping Ground offers secluded sites across 15 acres of mature trees and shrubs in Coastal Otago, with tent sites, caravan spaces and a dump point. Located near Herbert Forest with its walking and tramping tracks, the ground sits beside the Waianakarua River, which features swimming holes and easy walking access. Hot showers are included, and the pet-friendly camp welcomes dogs under control or on leads. Birdlife such as bellbirds, tuis, wood pigeons and fantails can be enjoyed throughout the property.
