Camping Area 4 is a designated unserviced campground in Castle Provincial Park, located near Lynx Creek Campground and the Carbondale River. Operated by Alberta Parks, this first-come, first-served area features large sites suitable for multiple camping units and off-highway vehicles, with steel ring fire pits, levelled sites, and pit toilet facilities. Open seasonally from May 1 to November 30, the campground charges $20 per night and accommodates tent camping with a maximum stay of 16 days. Its proximity to designated OHV trails makes it popular with riders exploring the Castle region of southwestern Alberta.
