Camp Waipu Cove is a not-for-profit beachfront campground located 90 minutes north of Auckland, offering a range of accommodation from non-powered tent sites to cabins and units. The facility operates communal kitchens, shared ablution blocks with hot showers, free electric barbecues, covered dining areas, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Free internet is included with all bookings. The campground overlooks Waipu Cove beach, which has been voted New Zealand's best beach. Check-in begins at 1pm for sites and 2pm for units, with checkout at 10am. All revenue is reinvested into the campground and local reserve.
