Cairnes Creek Recreation Site is a backcountry camping area near Golden offering 31 tent sites with basic amenities including picnic tables and primitive toilets. The site features swimming access and a boat launch, situated along Cairnes Creek approximately 36 kilometres north of the Trans Canada Highway on Highway 23. Currently, the site cannot be accessed due to washouts on the Blayberry Forest Service Road. When accessible, a fee typically applies from July through mid-October.
