Big Mountain Creek Group is a group camping site within Big Mountain Creek Provincial Recreation Area, located approximately 40 kilometres south of Grande Prairie in the boreal forest and rolling hills of northwestern Alberta. The provincial recreation area is operated by the Swan City Snowmobile Club and offers reservable group use areas with enclosed picnic shelters featuring wood stoves, firepits, and vault toilets. Available from May through October, the site is reservation-only with no day use permitted. Amenities support front-country hiking and fishing in a natural setting surrounded by sweeping terrain and forested landscapes.
