Waikaia Motor Camp is a community-owned camping ground on Scotswood Street in Waikaia, Southland. The site offers 64 powered sites plus ample tent spaces and operates seasonally from 1 October to 30 April. Facilities include a communal kitchen with full stoves, microwaves and utensils, newly refurbished ablution blocks, and coin-operated laundry machines. The camping ground overlooks the river and sits within walking distance of local attractions including fishing spots, a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts and cafés.
