The Camp at Lake Hawea offers a beautifully basic Kiwi camping experience that has welcomed campers, tourists and adventurers since 1971. Located in Otago, close to Wanaka and Queenstown, the ground provides over 100 powered sites set amongst mature trees and shrubs, with some offering partial lake and mountain views. Facilities include a dump point, drinking water, showers, toilets and shared kitchen and laundry amenities. Caravans, motorhomes and tent sites are available, with rates based on two people per site. The Camp has achieved Sustainable Qualmark Gold accreditation, reflecting its commitment to regenerative and sustainable tourism practices.
