Sullivans Bay Campground is the only vehicle-based camping area in Mahurangi Regional Park, managed by Auckland Council. This flat grassy site accommodates caravans and tents, with unpowered sites available for up to 30 people and a maximum stay of seven nights. The beachfront location offers excellent swimming, picnicking, water sports and walking opportunities. Facilities include a vault toilet block with two unisex cubicles and water taps along the beachfront. Gates open at 6am and close at 9pm. Camping typically operates during the warmer months, and bookings can be made up to six months in advance.
