Motuoapa Bay Holiday Park sits on the southern shores of Lake Taupō, 9 kilometres north of Turangi and 40 kilometres south of Taupo on State Highway One. The park offers tent sites and caravan sites alongside powered and unpowered pitches for campervans and non-self-contained vehicles. Facilities include hot showers, a communal kitchen, laundry, on-site dump station, and Wi-Fi. The park also features distinctive retro Kombi cabins shaped like VW vans, motel units, and converted boatsheds. A children's play area and BBQ area are available, and the site is adjacent to Motuoapa Bay Marina with lakefront access nearby.
