Buckley Campground (BC Hydro)

Buckley Campground offers free camping on the Pend d'Oreille Reservoir near Fruitvale, operated by BC Hydro as part of the Pend d'Oreille Recreation Area. The facility features 22 campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, with seasonal operation typically running from May through September. Visitors can enjoy swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing, and wildlife viewing along the reservoir. Parking is limited, and sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations.
