Buckhorn Lake Recreation Site is a provincial recreation site near Prince George offering four campsites with basic amenities including picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets. Situated directly adjacent to the main forest service road approximately 123 kilometres from the highway turnoff, the site provides lake access and an unimproved cartop boat launch suitable for small watercraft. Visitors can enjoy fishing and swimming opportunities on Buckhorn Lake. The camping pads are dirt surfaced and accommodate tents as well as smaller RVs. No fees are charged for overnight stays, with a maximum stay limit of 14 days.
