Astotin Lake Group Camping

Astotin Lake Group Camping in Elk Island National Park offers group camping facilities managed by Parks Canada, located within the Astotin Lake Recreation Area less than an hour east of Edmonton. The site sits in Alberta's only completely fenced national park, established in 1906, providing groups access to wilderness camping in a protected area known for bison, elk, and other wildlife. The group camping area is part of the broader Astotin Lake recreation zone, which includes a beach, playground, and theatre. Visitors can contact Parks Canada directly to confirm group site capacity, reservation procedures, and current fees.
