Volcanoview Campsite sits at the foot of Mount Taranaki on Egmont Road in the Taranaki region, offering non-powered sites for campervans and other vehicles on grass or gravel. No bookings are required – visitors choose their own spot on arrival. The site provides warm showers and clean toilets, with an on-site café, restaurant and bar serving IncaFé coffee, daytime baking and seasonal dinners when open. Located approximately five minutes from the North Egmont entrance to Egmont National Park, the campground operates seasonally and charges around sixteen dollars per person per night. Device charging may be available despite the absence of powered sites.
