Te Wera Valley Lodge is managed by Te Wera Outdoor Recreational Trust and provides a rural camping experience along the Forgotten World Highway, State Highway 43, roughly 37 kilometres from Stratford in eastern Taranaki. The lodge offers a rustic, no-frills environment with access to modern comforts including a communal kitchen, tent and caravan sites, and cabins. Set in back-country surroundings, it serves as a base for exploring this quieter, scenic stretch of Taranaki and the historic highway route connecting Stratford and Taumarunui.
