Camp Maynard is a Scouts-operated facility located on Paremoremo Road in Albany, Auckland. The camp accommodates up to 60 people and offers bunkroom sleeping arrangements, kitchen facilities, and toilet and shower blocks. Situated on elevated ground, the site benefits from excellent radio reception and mobile phone coverage, making it the regular host of the annual JOTA/JOTI event. The camp is available for hire by Scout groups and other organisations, with bookings accepted up to 18 months in advance. Popular dates including public holidays, school holidays and weekends tend to book out several months ahead.
